WE'RE HIBERNATING

The Serious Sausage Company was created in April 2010, with a view to bringing higher quality and more ethical processed meat products to the Halal market. Our range of really great British Halal Sausages, were received with much praise by sausage lovers, including many who do not normally eat Halal. As well as home deliveries, we also sold sausages through small shops across SE England and at farmers markets and various fairs. Over the summer, the Serious Sausage Company started to cook as well, serving Gourmet hot-dogs, and we attended a range of weddings, parties and festivals, including 2 months at London Zoo and a long weekend at The Living Islam Festival in Lincoln.

We wish to say a huge Thanks to all our customers, for all their support, kindness and custom. We learnt loads, sometimes made mistakes, but tried to listen to all the feedback we got, and hopefully improved our products and service along the way!

After the hectic summer, we have decided to hibernate for the winter. During this period, we will stop production and sale of sausages to our retail customers, but will continue to serve our existing catering customers. We will spend the rest of the year seeking new partnerships, new investment and new premises as well as continue experimenting with different types of Halal meats and developing new recipes.

Our mission remains the same. To use the finest quality meats, from ethical sources, to produce a truly premium Halal product. We plan to return in the New Year, with even more farm assured, free range and organic Halal products. We are Serious about Sausages!

Serious about sausages which are tasty, high quality, ethically produced and very halal.

Sausages are the nation’s favourite food to eat at home, and here at The Serious Sausage Company, we love them as much as you do!

There are many sausages out there, but very few purely non-pork sausages. That’s a shame, given the wonderful quality of British Lamb, Beef and Chicken which all make for a seriously scrumptious sausage!

Our small sausage company is serious about providing all halal sausage lovers with a variety of great tasting sausages made from quality meat supplied by farmers who care.

We’ve gone one step further in our mission to bring the best bangers to all the Great British public, by introducing the country’s tastiest, premium quality, ethical and halal sausage range!
